11-14th February 2008. The Minister of Sports and Youth Taha Barwary recently concluded a 4-day trip to Brussels and Holland where he met with several delegates from the Belgian and Dutch Ministries and Parliaments, the European Commission and the European Parliament, among others. The Minister’s program was coordinated by the KRG-EU representation in Brussels. |

For three years now the Gala has been a yearly event in Sweden and to see it finally happening in Denmark is a truly heartwarming experience. |

KRG Nordic Representation holds Kurdish Gala in Denmark |

The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Nordic Representation hosted for the first time a Kurdish Gala in the Danish capital, Copenhagen on 31st January 2008. The Gala, was also held in Sweden and Norway is part of a concept to encourage and pay tribute to the many successful Kurds and friends of the Kurds in the Nordic countries, while promoting the Kurdistani culture abroad. Organising the event was KRG Nordic Coordinator in Denmark Mr. Delavar Ajgeiy. |
